The Role As a Head of Technology for the Flywheel Technology organisation, you'll be working closely with your partners to prioritise, create and own roadmaps for your Engineering teams to work from.
You'll be working with your technology teams across different locations and time zones to create a vision for your area of responsibility.
You'll promote a culture of openness and clear feedback.
You'll enable your teams to deliver high quality, scalable software and emphasize a focus on Operational Excellence.
Working closely with other Heads within FanDuel, you'll help solve cross-vertical problems by designing and developing capabilities that fulfil overlapping needs.
Specifically, you will be leading a matrixed team of leaders focused on our Racing, Fantasy, Free to Play (F2P) and Generosity functions, while collaborating on the roadmap and working with other senior stakeholders and technology leaders to ensure end to end capabilities are realised.
What You'll Be Doing Delivery: Develop with other heads cross domain and sub-domain strategies to reduce bottlenecks and inefficiencies while promoting collaboration Produce and deliver a strategic, technical vision while identifying gaps in ownership and negotiating who'll own them going forward Define and deliver area strategy/vision for our next 2 years Engage with colleagues inside and outside technology and with different ways of working to ensure that complex and cross-functional initiatives are delivered, dependencies are managed and continuous improvement is prioritised
