Role and Key Accountabilities
Creating proofs of concept (POC) and working on innovative R&D projects.
Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions with a focus on NLP, LLM, audio, and video processing using AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for specific use cases and applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tech Leads, software engineer(s) and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into high-quality AI solutions.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to enhance model efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct experiments and research to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML.
Analyze and interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for models and algorithms.
Build and maintain production ready ML pipelines.
Knowledge, Personality, Skills and Experience Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
In-depth knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques.
Knowledge and experience of development and implementing Generative AI models.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras.
Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools, such as SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face.
Strong understanding of frameworks such as BERT, GPT, or Transformer models.
Hands-on experience in fine-tuning and optimising pre-trained models.
Familiar with cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Knowledge of trusted AI practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI models and systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, Fluency in English.
Track record of driving innovation and staying updated with the latest AI research and advancements.
