Senior IoT / Embedded Electronics Engineer WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a Senior IoT/ Embedded Electronics Engineer who will be responsible for all technical aspect of our products throughout the production life cycle. YOU WILL BE Designing, debugging, and validating our hardware products Creating electronics schematics, circuit diagrams, and layout plans for electronics components Building and testing prototypes to verify their functionality and performance Capturing schematics and layouts for systems and/or test boards Working with our manufacturing partners to drive ongoing improvements to efficiency Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Ensuring compliance with regulations Managing projects Keeping up with technological advancements Engaging in lifelong learning, attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills Fostering a culture of continuous improvement in the organization Mentoring other members REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor / Master degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent Over seven (7) years developing embedded systems, with an emphasis on hardware design and board bring up Experience in the design and layout of high density Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) Working knowledge of typical hardware interfaces: I2C, SPI, GPIO, UART, etc. Working knowledge of firmware development (baremetal or RTOS) on microcontrollers or SoCs Working knowledge of typical subsystems (memory technologies, power supplies, etc.) Experience with project budgeting, cost estimating and scheduling Creative, proactive and a team player Strong interpersonal skills and drive Excellent communication skill Fluency in English WHAT WE OFFER Work in state of the art global and high impact projects Dynamic and proactive team Competitive salary package Learning and training opportunities Health Insurance JOB TYPE Full-time LOCATION Leiria, Portugal ABOUT AVANCEESOFTWARE AVANCEESoftware is a high growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
