Title and Summary Head of Creative CopyThe Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, delivering cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. This team provides consulting, marketing, loyalty and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. Marketing Services develops and executes marketing programs to help clients achieve their goals. The Advisors Creative Desk ideates and creates engaging content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and brands.
We seek a creative and versatile Creative Copy Lead who develops innovative content resonating with diverse audiences and supporting client goals. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality copy across various platforms. Your expertise spans short-form and long-form content, with a knack for storytelling and a strong understanding of marketing principles. Experience in financial services content creation is desirable, as you will often need to simplify complex information into relatable narratives. The Role
You have strong conceptual skills and a highly developed ability to bring concepts to life through ideas executed across evolving communications channels.The work must always be executed to the highest standards and craft.You should have the ability to comprehend sophisticated strategic briefs and develop work on strategy and consistent with the brand character.Must be able to execute across a wide array of channels including TV, online video, online banners, social platforms, and print.You will be developing copy for direct response, designed to drive action and conversion.You should possess strong communications skills and be able to present work intelligently and concisely in internal reviews and client meetings.Must be proactive in bringing ideas that will help solve challenges and grow business.Develop holistic and memorable creative campaigns from start to finish.Actively identify new opportunities and future trends.About You COPYWRITING/STRATEGIST EXPERIENCE WITHIN A CREATIVE AGENCY ENVIRONMENT OR FOR MARKETING PURPOSES ON CLIENT SIDEExperience writing copy for direct response marketingAbility to concept new campaign copy in a variety of mediumsAbility to understand marketing insights and strategies to translate into compelling advertising campaigns that are digital-firstAbility to combine conceptual creative thinking with high-quality content deliveryAbility to collaborate with graphic designers to ensure format/design and copy work cohesivelyAbility to interpret brand/style guidelines from various clients and apply to marketing collateral messagingAbility to interpret creative briefing documents and effectively translate into compelling contentCaptivating presentation skillsProvide leadership/motivation to the creative team, navigating them for a successful and comprehensive creative outcome (ideation/concept/big idea)Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks come with an inherent risk to the organization.
