Maternity Nurse

LISBON - Maternity Nurse/Nanny (Sept/Oct start)A lovely English/Norwegian couple based in Lisbon are seeking a professional, warm, organised, and highly experienced routine-orientated Maternity Nurse/Nanny for their 4-5 month-old, starting in September or October.The baby is currently breastfed and bottle-fed with expressed milk.Extensive experience with this age group is required, including expertise in weaning onto solids, establishing or following through with routine, settling techniques, and highly tuned instincts about infant care, such as recognising the baby's cues for tiredness and hunger as well as, an in-depth understanding of developmental milestones.The ideal candidate should be happy to work alongside the parents and be confident in guiding and supporting them.Initially, they are wanting 24/5 availability (with a minimum 4-hour break) and as the role evolves, flexibility is required.For example, when the baby is sleeping through the night, nights off can be given, and a willingness to travel is desired.Separate accommodation will be provided for time off.Ideally, they are seeking a 1-year commitment.Proficiency in English is a must.Interested candidates should only apply if they meet the above requirements and to please include salary expectations for both the daily rate and 24-hour rate.
