JOB DETAILSLocation: LisbonWork model: Hybrid (1 to 2 times per month)Department: IT/CloudReports to CTODAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:As a Senior Cloud Engineer , you will:Drive the design and implementation of scalable, highly available, and- tolerant systems on the Cloud (AWS).Lead proof of concepts (POCs) on new technologies, assessing their potential benefits and guiding their integration into the company ecosystem.Assist in the planning, steering, and control of a- year IT Transformation program, focusing on the technological and cloud architecture perspectives.Design the technical program roadmap and the program's technical blueprint, in coordination with all stakeholders.Support the overall governance, including the review and approval of major concepts and interface designs.Keep up to date with emerging cloud technologies and advise on the best practices.Champion innovation by remaining abreast of the latest technological trends and proposing solutions and strategies beneficial to the organization.Ensure technical decisions align with broader organizational goals by facilitating communication among all program members and relevant stakeholders.REQUIREMENTS:Proven experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer or similar role, with expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Cloud services in AWS.Experience with IT transformation projects, including IT process modernization, transitioning from monolithic architectures to microservices, and gradual migration from- premises to cloud environments.Proficiency in Java and SpringBoot.Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC).Excellent- solving skills and the ability to work within a team.Strong understanding of cloud security, including managing access controls and understanding compliance requirements.Effective communication skills, with fluency in English.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.BENEFITS AND PERKS:Hybrid work (1 to 2 times a month in the office)25 days of holidayAnniversary Day offBudget for office setupWorking hours exemption allowanceHealth insuranceABOUT TOP SIGMA:Welcome to Top Sigma, a provider of innovative DevOps & SRE Services and Cloud Solutions.
