Job DescriptionFinancial Analyst is a strategic function within Purchasing that focuses on collecting and analyzing information about market conditions and supplier intelligence, considering aspects like corporate structure, supplier legal status, financial health, technological advancements, production capabilities, and other external factors that can influence strategic purchasing decisions.With a passion for intelligence and investigative work, you identify opportunities, risks and deliver actionable insights that support decision-making.Your focus areas will be:Competitive Analysis:Analyze competitors' purchasing strategies and supplier networksIdentify best practices and competitive advantages that can be leveraged within purchasingSupplier Intelligence:Gather detailed information about suppliers and respective supplier networks, including a deep understanding of their financial health and operational capabilitiesMarket Analysis:Assess current market conditions, including supply and demand dynamics and market driversEvaluate new tools and platforms that can enhance market intelligence and procurement efficiencyContinuous MonitoringSet up and implement business intelligence (BI) solutions as well as their automation for easy data visualization and maintenanceContinuously monitor market conditions and update intelligence reports as new information becomes that procurement strategies remain aligned with evolving market dynamics.QualificationsYour background:Studies in the field Economics, Business administration, Accounting, Finance or similarDeep understanding of financial statements , credit rankings, revenue and profitability trendsProficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BIWhat differentiates you:- Analytical Skills:Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions, synthesize information from diverse sources and present it coherentlyExperience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.- Personality and way of working: Creative, communicative, solution-oriented, reliable with a good sense for visual data implementationAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reportingHigh degree of intrinsic curiosity with a strong ability to connect dots- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findingsAdditional InformationWork #LikeABosch includes:Flexible work conditions | Hybrid work system | Exchange with colleagues around the world | Health insurance and medical office on site (nutrition, psychology, physiotherapy, general clinic) | Training opportunities (, technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications | Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products | Sports and health related activities (gym) | Free parking lot | CanteenSuccess stories don´t just happen.
