Senior Software Engineer Porto, Porto District Senior Software Engineer Porto Porto, Porto District, Portugal We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to play a crucial role in shaping and implementing- edge solutions that drive operational excellence, scalability, and reliability.As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our agile team, contributing to the operational health, deployment, and lifecycle of technology and platform solutions. in Körber Pharma Software.Your role in our teamDesigning and implementing complex backend systems and architectures.Leading and mentoring junior developers, providing guidance and technical expertise.Collaborating with- functional teams to define technical requirements and project scope.Conducting thorough code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.Optimizing and enhancing existing backend systems for improved performance and scalability.Researching and implementing new technologies and frameworks to drive innovation.Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner.Collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of backend systems.Share lessons learned, best practices, and- to's within internal and external communities of practice.Provide- matter expertise and help design solutions across hybrid and/or- cloud implementations.Your profile6+ years' experience as a backend developer, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable systems.In-depth knowledge of programming languages e. g C#, Java, Golang, elixir, Rust, Python, Others and related technologies.In-depth knowledge of Frameworks like Spring Boot, Rest, GraphQL and microservices architecture.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes).In-depth understanding of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL.Strong knowledge of system design principles, software architecture patterns, and best practices.Experience with performance optimization, security, and scalability of backend systems.Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.Excellent- solving and analytical abilities.Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with- functional teams.Ability to coach and onboard junior and professional team members.Drive small to- sized- team engineering initiatives.Nice to haveExperience with other languages like Golang, Python, Node, etc.Familiarity with Middleware Architecture or Message Queues (Kafka & RabbitMQ is a plus).Experience with CI/CD tools like Travis, Circle CI, Jenkins, etc.Why us?You can be part of our experienced, motivated team of international colleagues - we are the IT specialists in the pharmaceutical sectorYou can arrange your working hours flexibly and have the possibility to work from the home office / hybridYour relaxation is important to us - with us you have 25 days of vacation per yearAs the world market leader in MES, we offer you the opportunity to gain experience with the most modern-- the art technologies in the industryWe offer you international development prospects, Group-wide perspectives and further training opportunitiesWork in a global organization with international customers and colleaguesGood team spirit globally and locallyOpportunities for personal development enabling attractive career paths as you work in interesting, challenging and varied projects#J-18808-Ljbffr
