Exciting Opportunity: Sustainability & ESG DirectorJoin a leading financial technology platform, shaping the future of alternative investments, as tehir Sustainability & ESG Director They are revolutionizing how advisors, wealth management firms, asset managers, and banks evaluate and recommend bespoke public and private market strategies for high-net-worth clients.About The Role:As the Sustainability & ESG Director, you'll spearhead the development and implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, addressing business challenges and fostering sustainable practices across the organization. Your role will involve collaboration with international teams, oversight of sustainability initiatives, regulatory compliance, ESG monitoring, organizational capability building, and effective communication of our sustainability achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sustainability & ESG agenda, influencing change across the organization.Collaborate with international teams to share best practices and drive sustainability initiatives.Oversee project management of sustainability efforts, ensuring progress tracking and results.Stay informed of regulatory trends and ensure adherence to sustainability laws and regulations.Collect ESG data, benchmark with industry peers, and prepare company ESG reports.Identify and address organizational capability gaps through educational initiatives.Effectively communicate sustainability achievements to external parties and contribute to RFP responses related to sustainability.Qualifications And Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability or Environmental Science.Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate sustainability or ESG strategy.Deep knowledge of global ESG standards, regulations, and sustainability issues.Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as ESRS, GRI, CDP, or SASB.Proven success in developing and implementing ESG strategies and programs.Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Ready to drive meaningful change and shape the future of sustainable investing?
