Regional Information Security Officer (EMEA)Confidential Opportunity: Regional Information Security Officer (EMEA). I am currently working on an exciting and confidential opportunity for a Regional Information Security Officer role within the EMEA region. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the company's Cybersecurity Program, unifying global Cyber Security practices across multiple business units, and leading critical cybersecurity initiatives. You'll work closely with global information security leaders to align strategies and ensure operational excellence across the region.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Drive the unification and enhancement of global Cyber Security practices across business units within the EMEA region.Security Solution Optimization: Evaluate and optimize cybersecurity technologies to align with global standards while reducing complexity.Operational Efficiency: Oversee security processes and tools (e.g., access control, vulnerability management, incident response) to ensure smooth operation and timely issue resolution.Metrics & Reporting: Develop and implement risk metrics to monitor cybersecurity efforts across the region.Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with global teams and business leaders to promote a culture of risk-informed decisions and continuous compliance.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in information security, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.Strong experience in managing cybersecurity in distributed environments.Proven ability to develop and implement security metrics and reporting mechanisms.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of a regional cybersecurity function and work closely with senior leadership to deliver meaningful impact.
