FCCN is a unit of FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (Foundation for Science and Technology) - with the primary mission of equipping the Portuguese academic and research communities with the technological means to produce excellent science and knowledge. We are committed to ensuring Technology for Knowledge. We want to strengthen our Corporate Information Systems team with a Junior Systems Analyst. This role involves consulting on specific IT applications that support FCT's internal operations, focusing on the development and management of information systems such as ERP, document management systems, procurement systems, HR portals, and similar systems.
This position is under the PRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan), with a defined term until March 2026. Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements; Develop technical projects to support information systems; Control quality and conduct testing; Ensure the evolutionary maintenance of software; Document processes and results to record knowledge and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of processes. We are looking for people with the skills and experience described below, but especially those interested in the technological field and motivated to take on the challenge of being part of a highly specialized team and serving the education and research community, contributing to developing quality and innovative services.
Main requirements Higher education, preferably in IT or Information Systems; Recent graduate; Good communication and interpersonal skills; Professional responsibility and ethics; Good level of English; Basic knowledge of: SQL databases; Scripting; Process automation tools – RPA; Integration APIs; Software development methodologies and quality control. Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
Microsoft Power Automate or Blue Prism; Microsoft SQL Server; Some experience in similar roles (academic and/or professional).
