Descrição da empresa We are an Engineering and Product Development Center that conceives, develops, and productizes new technologies, products and services towards a more sustainable society. We work by bridging together cities, industry and universities around large programs of development and industrialization of products and services, from Portugal, in high-tech sectors such as mobility, aeronautics and space. This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Flight Dynamics (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team. Descrição do emprego Collaborate closely with the Aerodynamic and Aircraft performance teams to propose aircraft configuration optimizations to the Project Management Team. Cooperate within a team to improve tools and processes and share knowledge/information. Develop reliable flight mechanics models, vehicle simulations and tools for handling qualities necessary for the development of a new aircraft. Organize and lead all flight dynamic simulation activities required to answer a new aircraft program during the full product life cycle. Produce all needed documentation required for certification. Provide support during aircraft development phase, including certification phase, and participate in potential optimization campaigns while in service. Support any aircraft flight dynamic data requests from marketing, or other company departments. Support the flight test campaign required to achieve the aircraft certification. Qualificações Academic background in Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline. Proven experience in Flight Control Systems and Flight Mechanics activities covering the full lifecycle of an aerospace artefact, from conceptual phase to industrial production. Good knowledge of aerodynamic simulations, aircraft mission performance and propulsion systems. Good programming skills in C#, C++, VBA, Matlab, Python, FORTRAN and experience using Matlab/Simulink for modelling purposes in a professional work environment. Hands-on experience with Requirement Management tools (IBM Doors or similar). Fluent in English (mandatory). Good interpersonal skills to work as a team, but can also work independently and demonstrate self-reliance and initiative to achieve the goals established.
