Global Sourcing Manager – Professional Services & ITPermanentRemote UKAt Aggreko, we provide energy solutions so businesses can grow, and communities can thrive.Mines, data centers, sporting events, manufacturing sites – even whole cities – need electricity around the clock.Reliable supplies of energy have never been more critical.That's why we make sure our customers have power, heating, and air conditioning when, where and for however long they need it.The purpose of the role:Due to rapid growth within the business, we are currently looking for a Global Sourcing Manager to join our Global Indirect Category function.The position will be responsible for allocated sourcing & contracting activities across Professional Services and IT on both regional and global levels.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key focus areas for the Global Sourcing Manager role are:Responsible for allocated sourcing & contracting activities across Professional Services and IT.Support the delivery of the Professional Services & IT category strategies, globally as well as regionally.Business partnering with the key senior stakeholder community, globally and regionally, to align requirements & fulfill these with a view of global standardisation and leveraging global spend volumes as appropriate.Category scope includes the following sub-categories: Professional Services - Consultancy, Audit, Tax, Legal, Translations and Subscriptions IT including Software Licensing, IT Services, Hardware and Telecommunications.Build key supply partner relationships & platforms for regular engagement with key business stakeholder community.What we're looking for:Demonstrable experience in a professional procurement role, preferably within a multi-national organisation.Demonstrable understanding of key suppliers and supply market dynamics of the Professional Services & IT categories (SAAS).Experienced in working with suppliers globally whilst understanding regional differences which may require different approaches.Experience of Master Services Agreements in the Professional Services category as well as Statements of Work.Experience of negotiating and agreeing commercial models for IT and Professional Services agreements that limit commercial risk and ensure successful delivery.Experience of negotiating SLAs and understanding of how these apply in specific scenarios.Understanding of how large, global Professional Services & IT firms operate internally as well as externally.If you have gained experience in the utilities or engineering environments that would be a bonus yet is no pre-requisite.Why join Aggreko?We welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people's unique skills, attitudes, and experiences.We encourage everyone to be themselves at work because we know that's how we do our best, for each other, for our customers, for the communities where we work, and for our careers.Our culture inspires and unites us to grow, change and deliver the best solutions for our customers.It means that we are: Dynamic.Although we're sixty years old, it doesn't feel like it when you work here.There is a lot going on and our entrepreneurial spirit helps us to deliver at pace for customers and each other.Experts in what we do.We're a team of experts who blend our experience and unique expertise to deliver precisely the right solution for customers.Our work is hugely varied; no two days are the same.And because of this, there are always opportunities for motivated people to learn and grow quickly.
