Executive Sous Chef (M/F) – 5* Douro CruisesPEOPLECONQUEST – HR is recruiting for one of our clients that is a National River Cruise Company located in Porto.Description: Responsible for coordinating, supporting, and delivering an exceptional gastronomic service for travelers in accordance with the company standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.Responsibilities:Practicing company valuesLeading, coordinating, supporting, motivating, training, and evaluating the galley teamMonitoring and ensuring culinary service is up to the highest standardsResponsible for organizing "mise en place", appropriate storage, and keeping of goodsResponsible for hygiene in the galley in accordance with HACCP regulationsActively supporting and assisting culinary and restaurant teamResponsible for ordering food, as well as stock and cost control together with Executive ChefRelieving Executive Chef during his/her absenceAny other duties advised by Executive Chef/Hotel ManagerSkills/Qualifications:Culinary school diploma or basic education equivalent is preferredMinimum two years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotelCruise ship experience is a plusProven leadership abilities and excellent communication skillsFluency in English#J-18808-Ljbffr
