Role Overview:As our QA Lead, you'll be the champion of our game's quality, from the first line of code to the final release. This isn't just about finding and fixing bugs; it's about setting the standard for excellence and building the processes and team to uphold it. Given our startup nature, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the QA direction and grow with us. Whether you're strategizing test plans, diving into hands-on testing, or mentoring future team members, your work will be crucial to our success.
Key Responsibilities:Establish and lead our QA processes, ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of quality and player satisfaction.
Perform hands-on testing across various stages of game development, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Collaborate closely with the development team to identify, document, and resolve issues.
Lay the groundwork for a future QA team, including hiring and training as our project and company grow.
Serve as a pillar of quality assurance within our team, advocating for best practices and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate:Proven experience in a QA role within the gaming industry, with a strong foundation in QA methodologies and tools.
Direct experience with Unreal Engine and multiplayer game testing is highly desirable.
Ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and tackle challenges with a problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication skills, with the capability to work closely with remote teams.
A self-starter attitude, comfortable with the dynamic and flexible nature of a startup environment.
Interest in contributing to a small team's growth and open to the possibility of relocating to Portugal, with support from us.
