And all with the feeling that you are part of a big family.It means knowing that you have started one of the most exciting journeys of your life, a journey in which inspiration will always accompany you.Do you dare to be the owner of your professional career in an inspiring world?What will you have to do?Provide support to the Business Controller, analysing relevant information (financial or other) and advising the management and others responsible for operational departments in the hotelDetect and transmit any needs and opportunities in hotels under your responsibility to the Business ControllerParticipate in the preparation of the budget for the hotelMonitor the budget for the hotel and report any relevant deviation or incident to the Business ControllerCarry out local processes for the close of accounts in the hotelAnalyse and report any deviation compared to forecasts to the Business ControllerParticipate in the preparation of forecasts for operational departments in the hotel together with the Business ControllerApply and ensure compliance with the Hotel Administration and Accounting rules, processes and procedures in the hotelAssist with the internal audits in the assigned hotelCoordinates cost control duties, analysing and optimising them in the assigned hotelSupervise the posting of movements in accounts made in the assigned business unitWhat are we looking for?At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in a hotelHigh level of Portuguese and EnglishKnowledge of hotel business management and its specific requirementsknowledge of projections, budgeting, finanial results reportingKnowledge of SAP would be a plusLeadership and negotiation, planning and organisation skills, results oriented, teamworkAt Meliá we are all VIPGreat professionals who make everyday life easier and exceptional.
