Passion for our mission and vision is requiredThis role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform daily part inspection using state of the art Hexagon Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM)Using PC-DMIS software to Program and Parsec for FAI data collections.In-depth knowledge of GD&TPerform manual inspectionsKnowledge and utilization of nonconformance processes.Minimum Qualifications:Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in spaceA minimum of 3+ years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.Must be proficient with PC-DMIS software use for CMM programming and operationsSuperior blue print reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.Proficient in the use of precision hand tools, gauges, optical comparator, and surface plate work.Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:Desired knowledge of Polyworks and Spatial AnalyzerPC DMIS NC on machine inspection.Faro and Verisurf knowledge.Basic machining knowledge.Familiar with Mastercam preferably X6 or higher.Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware.Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.Inclusivity StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
