What the job looks like Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as: Act as a Certified Accountant, preparing and signing Local Books for all portuguese legal entities, in coordination with the local Corporate Hub; Support the Finance Director in all controlling matters, including Month end closings, Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting and Long Term Planning; Act as Finance Business Partner for the Commercial structure, Corporate Hub and HQ; Supervise local accounting standards and guidelines to ensure compliance and fulfilment with both local and group GAAPs (in coordination with the Corporate Hub); Manage month-end-close and year-end-close tasks; Prepare country financial statements; Manage tax compliance requirements, deliverables (such as Corporate Income Tax, SAF-T, etc.) and opportunities to optimize tax efficiency; Lead all communication with local Tax Authorities; Support the Finance & Controlling Director with external and internal audits; Provide reports and ad-hoc information to local management; Support data driven applications and decisions
