Job Description Design and architect embedded software solutions for automotive systems, considering performance, reliability, and safety requirements. Implement embedded software in C/C++ and Python, ensuring code optimization and adherence to coding standards. Develop communication interfaces using protocols such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay for reliable data exchange between embedded systems. Utilize Real-Time Operating Systems for multitasking and resource management in embedded software development. Integrate software with hardware components, sensors, and actuators, ensuring seamless functionality in an automotive environment. Adhere to ISO 26262 standards for functional safety in the development and testing of automotive embedded software. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of embedded software, ensuring robustness and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and testing teams. Maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, implementations, and test cases. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in embedded software development for automotive applications. Extensive experience in designing and developing embedded software solutions for automotive applications, including control systems and in-vehicle electronics. Proficient in programming in C/C++ and Python for embedded systems, ensuring efficient and well-optimized code. Expertise in programming microcontrollers/microprocessors, including ARM Cortex-M and other architectures commonly used in automotive embedded systems. In-depth knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and FlexRay. Experience in implementing communication interfaces for reliable data exchange between embedded systems. Familiarity with RTOS concepts and practical experience in developing real-time embedded software. Proficient in utilizing RTOS for multitasking and resource management. Proven ability to integrate software with hardware components, sensors, and actuators in an automotive environment. Automotive-specific certifications, such as ISO 26262 Functional Safety certification is a plus. Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools to manage and coordinate software development within a team.
