JOB DETAILS:Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)Work model: RemoteDAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:As a GCP Cloud Data Engineerat Top Sigma, you will:Collaborate with clients to identify their objectives and technical requirementsDesign and architect GCP solutions based on best practices and client needsImplement GCP services and features according to project requirementsProvide technical guidance and support to clients throughout the project lifecycleConduct assessments and reviews of existing GCP environments, identifying areas for improvement and optimizationDevelop migration strategies and execute cloud migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to GCPConfigure and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Deployment ManagerAutomate deployment and management tasks using Google Cloud services and toolsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GCP services and infrastructureStay up to date with the latest developments in GCP and cloud technologies, and share knowledge with the team REQUIREMENTS:Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing GCPsolutions, including infrastructure, networking, security, and data servicesIn-depth knowledge of GCP servicessuch as Compute Enginee, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and IAMStrong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Google Cloud Deployment ManagerFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and containerizationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersGoogle Cloud certification(s) such as Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or Associate Cloud Engineer is a plusBENEFITS AND PERKS:Remote WorkFlexible working hours?25 days of holidayAnniversary day off?Budget for office setupWorking hours exemption allowanceCapitalization InsuranceTraining budgetPaid Learning SubscriptionHealth insuranceFood AllowanceABOUT TOP SIGMA:Welcome to Top Sigma, a provider of innovative DevOps & SRE Services and Cloud Solutions.
