Cloud Foundations Engineer (GCP) - Lisbon Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for a Cloud Foundations Engineer (GCP) to join one of the world's most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.
Our Client is the owner of prestigious Maisons distinguished by their craftsmanship, creativity, and technological innovation. Our Client's ambition is to nurture the unique heritage and values of its Maisons and businesses, while enabling them to grow and prosper in a responsible, sustainable manner over the long term.
To leverage Lisbon's tech spirit and infuse it into its brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce. They look forward to welcoming their TCC employees and onboarding them on an exciting adventure managing modern solutions and innovative technologies through global, scaled platforms to create business value with pace and agility.
Responsibilities Contribute to the definition of standards and good practices on the cloud foundations of Richemont.Work hand in hand with projects and products counterparts to guide them through the cloud transformation within Richemont by using automation.Engage with stakeholders to discover opportunities and improvement points, map vision & requirements to specific products and components.Actively participate in the standardization of our architecture offers and contribute to the implementation of complex and smart automation and infrastructure as code.Academic Background Bachelor or master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Skills & Experience Deep understanding of GCP is required. AWS, Alibaba, and Azure (Azure AAD) are a plus.Experience as a Cloud Engineer.Experience building landing zones at scale in a global and multi-cloud environment.Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.Excellent communication skills and autonomy in following tasks and assisting projects.Good analytical thinking and skills to report efficiently to a wide audience.Fluent in English mandatory, French a plus.Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model with experience and passion to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, delivering features in short time durations and utilizing automation whenever possible.Any experience with data engineering is a plus.Experience with coding and scripting, including Python and BASH.Deep understanding of SDLC processes, cloud operations and support (ITIL) service delivery with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.Experience with Kubernetes or Anthos is a plus.Experience with designing and implementing API interactions through code.Good knowledge of cloud security frameworks.Basic knowledge of FinOps.Desired Personal Skills High attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset.Good communication and collaboration skills.Strong customer orientation.Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.Demonstrated experience in web application scalability.Capacity to use emerging web technologies in live ecosystems.Highly self-motivated and focused.Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations.Interview Process Our team will actively review all applications. The next step will be meeting our Client's team for a technical interview with team members; selected candidates will move to a final interview with the Hiring Manager and HR team. Additional rounds may be engaged on a case-by-case basis.
