Program Manager — Defense (Relocation to Abu Dhabi) Direct message the job poster from ConfidentialSenior Recruitment Consultant @ Ainsley Reid International We are seeking an experienced Program Manager who can effectively lead and manage multiple complex engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of production planning and resource allocation techniques, have a strong background in project scheduling, and bring a wealth of experience from the defense or aerospace industry. This role demands a proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of driving operational excellence in fast-paced environments.Responsibilities:Develop and manage comprehensive roadmaps, project plans, and team schedules based on industry best practices.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of plans and schedules by collaborating with Product Owners.Conduct time impact and delay analyses to identify potential project delays.Monitor project activities and provide visibility into progress using appropriate tools.Maintain program documentation, including Minutes of Meeting and the R&D PMO Confluence Space.Support the implementation and integration of R&D systems such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), including deployment, team training, and ongoing maintenance.Lead initiatives to create, adapt, and improve R&D engineering standards, processes, and workflows through process mapping, flow-charting exercises, and workshops.Collaborate with the PMO team on R&D reporting tasks.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field relevant to planning and logistics.PMP CertificationOver 10 years of experience in program management, planning, and scheduling of complex engineering projects with intricate resource dependencies.At least 10 years of experience in the defense or aerospace industry.Extensive knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation methods.Proficiency with advanced planning and scheduling tools.Experience in Operational Excellence and familiarity with Agile Methodology and Value Stream Mapping.Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is highly desirable.Strong capabilities in business intelligence.Advanced proficiency in Jira/Confluence and Excel.High levels of autonomy and proactivity.Experience working in start-up and agile environments.Excellent communication and writing skills in English.Please only apply if you are willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi for this position.
