Synopsys is seeking a talented engineer for the SG Digital IP Methodology group in Portugal. Stimulating, challenging and rewarding work. Excellent work environment and career development opportunities.The successful candidate will work to help defining and keep up to date SG Digital IP Methodology flows and processes for Digital IP (controllers) development.Digital IP tools implements the flows but it is the Methodology team that defines requirements, and guarantees, that they are up to date and follow industry best practices. This role scope includes testing the flows/processes in a real IP, document the steps and their reasoning and preparing training material for teams adoption.As a worldwide organization short term travel may be required.Key qualifications: Degree in electronic engineering or computer scienceProblem solving skillsGood communication skills in EnglishWillingness to learnTeam playerOrganized and methodicalUnderstanding of IC design flowsRelevant work in IC developmentExposure to Unix, Python and Tcl scriptingExposure to Synopsys EDA tools (TMAX, DC, cT)Our Silicon Design & Verification business is all about building high-performance silicon chips—faster.
