Randstad SSC is recruiting for a client, a renowned bank that is seeking a Market Data Financial Monitoring.
Your role: In this consultancy role, you will work to help establish the framework for the Market Data Financial Monitoring position within the banking activities of CIB.
Your primary focus will be to set up processes and guidelines that will enhance the management and reporting of market data, which encompasses various types of financial and non-financial information (market data, characteristics of financial instruments, fundamental data, ratings, analysis and research, forecasts, business news, ESG factors, etc.).
Over the course of 3-6 months, your missions will include:
Developing and implementing a framework for the steering and control of the budgets and costs of Market Data: establishing processes for controlling and validating Market Data invoices and their analytical allocation within the Market Data Management (MDM) tool, as well as outlining procedures for monthly monitoring and reporting of costs (paid expenses and provisions).Creating templates for recurring and ad-hoc financial reports to monitor and explain the evolution of market data budgets and expenditures, identifying cost drivers (prices, volumes, etc.)
and formulating qualitative analyses to explain these changes (contract renewals, inventory changes, cost avoidance, etc.
).Setting up reporting mechanisms for Market Data suppliers: developing a dashboard to track spending by supplier, analyzing the main services provided, and establishing processes for qualitative analyses to explain the evolution of supplier charges (price increases, changes in offerings, CIB business development, etc.
).Collaborating with Market Data experts and user business units to identify opportunities for optimization and providing ad-hoc analyses as needed.Facilitating regular meetings with users and management (planning, presentation materials) and fostering close collaboration with the Market Data team located in Porto. If you have: Master's degree in Finance / EconomicsVery good knowledge of Excel, VBA, Power BIGood and structured communication (oral / written)Adaptability and curiosityCapacity to deal with stress and conflictTeam PlayerTaste for data processing and data accuracyProfessional level of English.
