Your main tasks will be:
Support development and implementation of regional category specific strategies
Identify and recommend ´best in class´ suppliers and maintain good relationships
Prepare and lead strategic supplier negotiation with regional, sub-regional (Iberia) and local (Portugal) suppliers
Contribute to global category sourcing strategies and initiatives.
Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of regional frame contracts
Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services and transportation capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business
Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and development and management of strategic suppliers
Integrate Procurement services at regional level for the business colleagues (divisions)
Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service
Close collaboration with purchasing department to optimize purchases.
Your profile should look like:
Relevant university degree (Bachelor) and/or equivalent experience
More than 3 years of relevant procurement experience (indirect preferably)
Project management and supplier management experience preferred
Fluent English (conversational Spanish is nice to have)
Good negotiation skill, ability to manage suppliers and key stakeholders
Knowledge of contract management and risk management
