*Position Overview:* We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Portuguese and English speaker with substantial experience in the financial sector, particularly in compliance functions.
*Key Responsibilities:*
•? ?Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.

•? ?Monitor and report on compliance risks and breaches.

•? ?Develop, implement, and review compliance policies and procedures.

•? ?Provide compliance training and support to staff.

•? ?Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
*Requirements:* *
• ?Language:* Fluent in Portuguese and English.
*
•? ?Residency:* Must be a resident of Portugal.
*
•? ?Education:* Bachelor's degree (preferably in Accounting, Management, Finance, or Law).
*
•? ?Experience:* Minimum of four (4) years working in the financial sector, AML experience and background in a Portuguese financial institution with a focus on compliance functions.
*
•? ?Knowledge:* Familiarity with EU jurisdictions and experience with compliance legislation within Portuguese law.
*
•? ?Availability:* Must be available to dedicate at least 20 hours per week to this role. Preferably full-time position.
