Position: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Portugal/ Remote (Portuguese residency required)

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:

As a Data Engineer at Top Sigma, you will:

Develop data engineering projects with a strong emphasis on Databricks and Spark .

Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions.

Optimize and manage data workflows in a cloud environment ( AWS ).

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer .

Strong expertise in Databricks and Spark .

Proficient in AWS , SQL , Python , Snowflake , and ETL/ELT processes.

Proven experience in handling large datasets and complex data architectures.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fluent in English.

Background in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, or Software Development.
