The Global Medical Affairs Specialist - Parkinson's will contribute to BIAL's strategic medical direction acting as engaging HCPs and patient, making sure that all legal framework is respected.
The Impact You'll Make Align and implement Global Medical Affairs strategy for medical education and medical communication and related activities;Responsible for further cascading of the global medical affairs strategy including publication strategy in alignment with the brand strategy to the countries/affiliates;Cultivate and improve collaboration and coordination across medical functions;Develop content and materials for effective and accurate communication of science and clinical data within and outside the organization in training or educational programs, publications and congress presentations;Ensure that medical insights from key countries are used to inform all evidence, product development, and strategy deliverables;Provide medical support to regulatory, pharmacovigilance and marketing functions;Support marketing initiatives including scientific input and expertise in the design and construction of all promotional materials and events. Review materials for scientific accuracy. Present relevant scientific information at marketing functions as needed;Enable access to medicines through clear understanding and education of treatment value.Facilitate and continue to build BIAL's role as a science-based, patient-focused partner;Develop and implement therapy/product training for internal and external stakeholders;Build strong partnerships with medical and patient communities including global thought leaders, investigators, academic networks and professional societies, as well as pharma partners to drive safe adoption of medical value solutions;Ensure conduct of medical activities in full compliance with all BIAL's laws, regulations, and SOPs.What You'll Bring Medical Degree;1-3 years clinical practice/pharmaceutical industry experience – preferably in Medical Affairs;Demonstrated expertise in Parkinson's disease (preferred);Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) (preferred);Fluency in English (oral and written);Strong influencing, communication and presentation skills;Autonomy, proactivity and teamwork;Good analytical capacity;Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to understand and interact with people with different cultures/behaviours;Availability to travel.This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave.
