Synopsys is looking for Business Data Analyst for Porto and Lisbon.

The Impact You Will Have: Accelerate turning our Product Operations data into information, information into insights and insights into business decisions.Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our service and establish robust data management practices aligned with standards and best practices.Facilitate collaboration and alignment across various engineering groups and entities.Ensure that teams are well-trained and equipped to understand reports and help in decision making.Contribute to the overall success and innovation of Synopsys by implementing best practices and new methodologies. What You'll Need: MSc degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or other related fields.Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.
), databases (SQL, etc.
), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for evaluating datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.
).Solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Adept at queries, report preparation (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
and presenting actionable insights.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, both to internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to craft actionable messaging to peers.Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Willingness to manage and coordinate stakeholders across a global organization.Passion for new problem solving and team cooperation to yield new ideas and proposals, with peers who challenge you to be better.The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
And the ability to deal with and thrive on objections. Preferred Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis roles.Demonstrable proficiency in Python/Pandas (or similar) and with PowerBI reporting.Demonstrable background in Data Management frameworks (DMBOK, etc.
).Work experience in a multicultural environment/international company is a plus. The Team You'll Be a Part Of: You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team focused on defining, implementing, and optimizing product operational processes.
