For our future boutique hotel (opening summer 2025) ****, located in Melides (Alentejo), we are looking for an assistant to support the day-to-day management of the hotel and restaurant and ensure optimum organisation of operations.
If you are methodical, organised and enjoy juggling different administrative tasks, then this is the job for you
You will monitor and manage the administrative tasks, ensuring that internal operations run smoothly and efficiently.
You will be responsible for processing and drafting documents such as supplier forms and invoices, ensuring that they are correct and that they are sent to the relevant departments.
You will monitor administrative files, filing and archiving documents to ensure that they are properly organised and accessible at all times.
You will also be responsible for receiving and managing incoming calls, providing information to internal and external contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
You will be the right-hand woman of the Hotel and Restaurant Manager, assisting them in their day-to-day tasks.
You will deal with the staff management (administrative part) in coordination with our accountant.
Finally, you will provide essential support to the hotel various departments, assisting them with their administrative and organisational needs, to ensure smooth and structured operations.
Your profileYou must have at least 5 years experience as an administrative assistance in the hotel industry in Portugal.
You are organised, rigorous and able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
You have a degree in business administration.
You are familiar with all the administrative processes related to a hotel and restaurant management.
Portuguese is your mother tongue and you are fluent in English.
Remote position possible with frequent site visits.
If working on site, accommodation possible.
