Talented Recruitment Group are partnered with a global, market-leading TravelTech company who are renowned for providing a vast selection of travel options — ranging from guided tours to extreme adventures, ensuring unforgettable memories for travellers around the globe.We're seeking an experienced Director of Security to lead the Security and Compliance Engineering team within the business. This position requires a unique combination of software engineering and security engineering skills and reports to the head of the engineering platform.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement security strategies across the Security Engineering and Security Operations teams.Liaise with other teams to ensure a cohesive security posture.Assess security risks and lead initiatives to mitigate these risks.Oversee and enhance the Security Incident response process.Improve the company's ability to detect and respond to security incidents.Manage the Risk and Compliance programs.Consult with product and engineering teams to integrate security and compliance best practices.Implement tools for automating security processes.Design and lead the security champions program.ExperienceProven track record of building and improving security programs in cloud-based e-commerce marketplaces.Managing multiple engineering/security teams.Leading security initiatives impacting an engineering platform.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Significant engineering expertise, particularly in technology-driven roles.Securing large-scale distributed systems.Experience managing a security team within a software product development environment.A DevOps mindset, with a preference for security by enablement, automation, and guardrails.Familiarity with public Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).Developing cloud-native applications (AWS or other).Ability to guide and mentor team members.Strong participation in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.Knowledge of common information security, business continuity, and privacy management frameworks and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, FedRamp, SOX).Experience with CI/CD, Gitlab, and Terraform.Familiarity with PCI DSS.PackageBase Salary up to €130,000 pa.Bonus 20% pa.Shares +$150,000.Comprehensive health benefits with competitive premiums.Flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle, including remote-friendly options.Emphasis on work-life balance with a flexible schedule.Annual lifestyle benefit for personal use.Travel perks, offering discounts and more.If this sounds like a role you would be well suited to, please apply and we will be in touch to discuss your application further.#J-18808-Ljbffr
