About the Transformation:  STG is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation aimed at optimizing our SAP ecosystem to meet the evolving needs of our organization. This initiative involves leveraging the latest technologies, enhancing system capabilities, and adopting best practices in SAP solutions. The goal is to create a more efficient, agile, and integrated SAP landscape that supports our business objectives and enhances overall performance.
Role summary:  As an SAP R2R Finance Functional Expert at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), you will be responsible for the configuration and implementation of the SAP Finance and Accounting modules (FI, CO, AA, etc.). You will analyze requirements, set up organizational structures, master data, and processes for general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and management accounting. You'd also customize finance integrations with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, etc.), develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements, as well as perform testing, troubleshooting, and support.
Location: Lisbon or Madrid  Working hours: Full-time  Contract type: Direct employment  What can you expect as an SAP R2R Finance Functional Expert at Scandinavian Tobacco Group? Your primary tasks will be: Configure and maintain SAP Finance modules (FI/CO) to meet business requirements. 
Support financial planning activities and provide insights for decision-making. 
Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable processes, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions. 
Maintain asset records and depreciation schedules in compliance with accounting standards. 
Implement and maintain cost accounting processes and perform variance analysis. 
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns and reports. 
Ensure alignment between business requirements and best practice / standard solution 
Optimize and standardize already existing processes to adhere to architectural guidelines 
Integrate with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD) and third-party systems. 
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):  Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. 
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Finance modules (FI/CO) implementation and support. 
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP Finance configuration and customization, with strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. 
Proficiency in English is required 
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making. 
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions in a timely manner.
