The Corporation's branches work to support Yukon's food and beverage industry, cannabis market, and local liquor producers through a range of programs and services. We continuously evolve our business structure to improve the way we operate our Whitehorse Liquor Store, central warehouse and five rural community Liquor Stores in Dawson City, Faro, Haines Junction, Mayo, and Watson Lake. The opportunity… The Liquor Store Clerk is responsible for serving the public in retail sales of liquor with excellent customer service. Liquor Store Clerks help team receive and handle stock, have product knowledge, merchandising skills and are able to operate a computerized point-of-sale (POS) system. They also provide surveillance skills for underage, intoxicated persons, and shoplifters, and assisting in janitorial duties.

Considerable experience working in a high-volume retail environment or licensed establishment providing customer serviceExperience with shipping, receiving, validating and/or stocking incoming inventoryExperience balancing register cash, receipts, and float at the end of the shiftExperience using a computerized point-of-sale (POS) systemCandidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
