Randstad is recruiting a Network Operations Consultant, for direct integration, in a company located in Restelo, Lisbon.
Hybrid work model (3 days at the office, 2 days remote / week).
descrição da função/job description Troubleshooting Incidents - Systematically identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues within a network infrastructure to restore optimal functionality. Requires advanced knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software, as well as a methodical approach to isolate problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. Incident Response - Detect and respond to network incidents, such as failures, performance degradation, and security breaches, in a timely manner. Diagnose and resolve network issues. Network Security - Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Configuration Management - Maintain and update network configurations, including IP addresses, subnets, routing tables, and firewall rules. Ensure that network devices are configured correctly. Performance optimization - Analyze network traffic patterns and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization. Implement improvements to enhance network efficiency. Documentation - create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Patch management - Firmware and software updates to network devices and systems to address security vulnerabilities and improve network stability. Collaboration - Work with other teams, including system admin, cybersecurity experts, and application developers. Emergency Response - Be available for on-call service to respond to network emergencies (1 week every 6 weeks). requisitos/requirements More than 2 years of experience in network operations (mandatory requirement). Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar. Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are valued. Experience in network troubleshooting and implementing solutions (mandatory requirement). Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript or others) and automation tools. Experience with network protocols and technologies (VLANs, TCP/IP, switching, routing) Knowledge of network security. Able to analyze network traffic patterns, performance data to identify issues and do data-driven recommendations. Collaborate with team members. Good English communication skills (B2 intermediate level is a mandatory requirement). oferta/offer The network operations consultants does check networks health, respond to incidents, and execute routine maintenance tasks. This professional is expected to have good troubleshooting skills and solve complex network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Active participation in projects, capacity planning, and continuous learning. In the end this professional reviews, documentates updates and effective communication of updates to the team. This role demands a proactive monitoring to dynamic incident response, ensuring the reliability and optimization of the network infrastructure.
Direct contract (contracto sem termo), food allowance 7,63€ / work day, health insurance and flex benefits.
