Details – Hospitality, Sports & Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports & Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal, being responsible for managing the main hotel units, located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.
Details is seeking a creative and proactive Content & Social Media Specialist to enhance the communication of our Sports & Leisure division.
The ideal candidate will create and manage engaging content that reflects the unique identity of our golf courses, resorts, and leisure offerings while ensuring consistency with their individual brand identities.
This role combines storytelling, social media strategy, and a hands-on approach to content creation, including photograph, video editing, and graphic design.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage content calendars for the Sports & Leisure division, ensuring consistent and engaging communication.
Create and edit photos and short videos for social media and promotional use.
Design visually appealing content using tools like Canva for posts, stories, and newsletters.
Write and edit newsletters to promote our golf courses, events, and leisure experiences.
Monitor and analyse social media performance, adjusting strategies to optimise engagement and growth.
Stay updated on social media trends and digital marketing practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all content supports business objectives and brand guidelines.
Actively engage with online communities, responding to comments and fostering audience interaction.
Requirements Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in sports, leisure, or hospitality.
Knowledge of photography and video editing tools for creating short-form content.
Proficiency with design tools like Canva; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Excellent writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools and email marketing software.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Creative mindset with a passion for sports, leisure, and hospitality.
