For our two Michelin star Restaurant we are looking for a personable and knowledgeable Sommelier with the ability to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

As a Sommelier at Vila Joya, you will be an integral part of our service team to curate memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:Provide expert wine service and recommendations tailored to taste, guest preferences, and dietary needs.Ensure flawless wine service, proper serving temperatures, and glassware presentation.Offer wine pairing suggestions to elevate the dining experience.Engage with guests, sharing insights about wines and enhancing their overall experience.Maintain proper records of wine sales.Collaborate with and support the service & kitchen teams.Your ProfileOur ideal candidate must possess:

Vila Joya is located above the Atlantic and is surrounded by an evergreen garden with direct access to the sea. With its 15 suites & rooms, a two Michelin star gourmet restaurant, and 350m2 spa and fitness area, this Moorish style building - formerly the private summer residence of the German Jung family - is now one of the most beautiful privately-run boutique resorts in Europe.
The heart of Vila Joya is its terrace and as such is the hub and focal point for all culinary delights. At lunch and dinner time, this terrace is transformed into the two Michelin star Restaurant Vila Joya. Chef Dieter Koschina has been working at Vila Joya for more than 30 years and has held two Michelin stars since 1999—something truly exceptional for a restaurant that offers a daily changing four-course menu to its guests.
