Role Overview We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Risk Management Department as the Head of Operational Risk.
This role reports directly to the Head of the Risk Management Department and involves overseeing operational risk and ICT events and losses, leading the Bank's Risk Control Self-Assessment process, and providing independent advice on risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities Ensure collection and treatment of operational risk and ICT events and lossesLead the Bank's Risk Control Self-Assessment processProvide independent advice on product, services, systems, processes, and third-partiesReport operational risk metrics, losses, events, and elaborate specific risk analysisCoordinate the Bank's risk reports to shareholdersParticipate in ICT and security risk management frameworkCompute operational risk capital regulatory and internal requirementsRequirements At least 5 years of experience in advisory services for financial institutions or in a financial institutionDegree in management, economics, or financeFluency in EnglishKnowledge of regulatory topics such as EBA's Operational Risk regulation and guidelines, CRR III, DORA, BCBS 239, ISO 27001/2, NISTKnowledge of Excel, SQL, and PowerPointStrong analytical, investigation, and problem-solving skillsGood interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a teamAbility to work under pressure with demanding deadlines and to allocate time effectivelyAbout Us Haitong Bank is an equal opportunity employer committed to ensuring that no individual is discriminated against based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
