Title: Head of Valuation Advisory, Valuation Advisory
Location: Portugal

The Role
As JLL's Head of Valuation Advisory for Portugal, you will be responsible for the governance and execution of all Valuation Advisory business development, client relations, and delivery/operations within the country. Specifically, you will be responsible for delivering agreed upon revenue growth, margin expansion, and talent management targets. You also will be the business line's primary liaison with in-country business line and geo leadership, responsible for coordinating a OneJLL mindset that results in cross-sales and world-class client experience. The Country Head will report directly to the Head of Valuation Advisory Services in Southern Europe Cluster, and s/he will maintain a matrixed relationship with the local Country Manager.

The Responsibilities

Accountable for managing all disciplines within the Valuation Advisory team – driving revenue growth and sector development, operational delivery (inspection, valuation, report delivery, quality, etc.), client relationships and service.
Develops local strategy and business plan based on global growth objectives (clients, industries, M&A, technology, people).
Active member on the country's management board - contributing to JLL's local market strategy and growth ambition.
Provide strategic counsel and support to the business line and local Country Manager.
Align revenue strategy and initiatives with the other business lines' revenue leaders and the overarching OneJLL strategy.
Constructs budget in line with growth targets set by the Business Line; manage the P&L to deliver/exceed budget.
Monitor and proactively act on external forces – competition, regulatory changes, investment trends & capital flows, etc.
Provide visible, local leadership; actively advocating for and living the changes expected by the teams.
Develop and implement a strategic revenue plan to continually achieve or exceed revenue and PGOI objectives.
Establish a culture of consistent revenue growth with clear KPIs and expectations.
Develop/expand relationships and accounts at local, national and international levels.
Drive aggressive revenue growth in both the existing and prospective clients.
Promotes Sector client approach to local teams and local clients.
Collaborate with Country Manager, Heads of other in-country Business Lines, other Valuations teams in other Countries and Client Relationship Directors to support cross-selling, and to ensure optimization of the customer journey (client satisfaction).
Identify and recommend other revenue expansion opportunities.
Report revenue forecasts, performance, and risks to the leadership team on a regular basis.
Provide governance across all delivery activities including proposals/RFPs, contracting, inspections, valuations, reports, data collection, invoicing, etc.
Identifies opportunities to improve operations in country and delivers on improvements.
Support portfolio and complex valuation mandates, as needed.
Analyze and control expenditures to conform with budgetary requirements.
Drive and implement local marketing and communications campaigns that build awareness of our service offerings, enhance the brand, and fill the funnel with new opportunities.
Oversee adoption and adherence in-market of global initiatives (e.g., tech updates, new processes).
Coordinate with regional and global teams to serve multi-national portfolios.
Lead and build a diverse and highly functional local team that can both drive revenue and deliver with the highest quality and ethics.
Provide clear expectations and goals for your team; hold team members accountable to achieve aims.
Create a high-commitment work environment where people are motivated and encouraged to achieve through empowerment and development.
Recruit and hire talent as needed.
Ensure succession planning is in place for key roles.
Mentor/coach team members to enable performance.

The Requirements
10-15+ years of relevant RE Firms, including Big Four, and business development experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry.
5-7+ years of leading people – both business development and delivery teams.
Experience working as part of an executive team, including building relationships and influencing senior executives.
Experience on portfolio management.
Inspiring leader with experience driving organic growth by winning market and wallet share.
Excellent and creative networker, with many established relationships with in-market clients.
Excellent entrepreneur with eye for opportunities and developments in the market.
Quantitative analytical skills, including KPIs, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Comprehensive knowledge of the local Commercial Real Estate competitive landscape.
Demonstrated leadership and presence within local market CRE organizations.
In-depth experience with financial analysis and financial modeling.
Strong business management skills and a track record of delivering on operational targets.
Ability to effectively influence others based on your credibility, confidence, and shared respect.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills, and a commitment to collaborate.
Experience engaging with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds.
Bachelor's degree required (master's degree preferred) - strong focus on finance, mathematics, technology or data science.
