Senior Tester / QA Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Senior Tester / QA Engineer to join our fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
As a critical member of the QA Team, you will contribute to the development of the Aurum Platform by enhancing its test framework. Collaborating with the Development and Support teams, you will be responsible for improving test coverage and overall product quality through tasks such as analysing requirements, writing and executing test cases, and creating and running auto-tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse requirements and write clear test cases.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure high-quality products.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language. Experience with JavaScript, PowerShell, or Batch is a plus.
- Experience in writing auto-tests for desktop and web applications.
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and database management (MSSQL).
- Good understanding of Windows operating system and networking fundamentals.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with TestComplete automation tool.
- Knowledge of web application testing and REST API testing principles.
- Background in Accounting, Finance Reporting, or Financial Software development.
- Familiarity with security principles related to software development.
