Control & Automation EngineerContract Type: PermanentCountry: PORTUGALLocation: Santa Maria da FeiraYour opportunity: The incumbent will be in charge of the full Electrical and Automation engineering of projects in execution phase, ensuring both the correct electrical integration of Sidel and Third parties equipment, and the proper implementation of conveyor and line control automation.Your MissionAnalysis and validation of customer specificationsParticipates in customer meeting (together with Project Manager Execution)Gathering information required to finalize execution projectsManaging the correct electrical integration of Sidel and Third parties equipmentDefines and validates conveyor / machine interfaces (Electrical and Automation) with suppliers or the customerDefines and validates the Ethernet network layout of the project with customer and machine suppliersDefines necessary electrical and automation components for conveyor control (PLCs, frequency Inverter, Sensors, HMI, etc...)Gathering all electrical information for Sidel power distribution system for the complete lineLiaise with Sidel conveyors manufacturing sites for the conveyors supplyPrepare and distribute technical specifications for the conveyors electrical and automation manufacturingDefines the principles of conveyor and line operation and writes the detailed functional analysis of the projectYour ProfileQualifications: Technical diploma or University degree in Electrical and Automation EngineeringMastery of automation and industrial communication networksGood electrical knowledgeKnowledge of PLCs range from the main suppliers (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)Knowledge of frequency inverter range from the main suppliers (SEW, Danfoss)Knowledge of CAD environment (autocad), and PC OfficeSoftware proficient: Office automation (Excel, Word, etc), Microsoft VisioLinguistic competence: Fluent French & English (other languages such as German or Italian are a plus)Skills and personal attributes:Minimum Requirements:Technical Competence in beverage lines layouts or comparable industrial systemKnowledge of conveying system and associated conceptsKnowledge of CAD environment and PC OfficeKnowledge of Microsoft VisioUnderstanding and utilization of engineering technical terminologyTeamwork abilityAvailability for short term business trip within EuropeAdditional Requirements:Programming experience will be appreciatedBasic knowledge of mechanicalBasic knowledge of the CE Norms and Regulations will be appreciatedRelevant Experience:Working experience as Electrical & Automation engineer in a conveyor manufacturer companyKnowledge of process within beverage industries#J-18808-Ljbffr
