In the coming years, the Group's ambition is to become a leader in sustainable mobility services, driven by data, technology and people.Europcar Mobility Group offers to individuals and businesses a wide range of car and van rental services, be it for a few hours, a few days, a week, a month or more, on-demand or on subscription, relying on a fleet of more than 250,000 vehicles, equipped with the latest engines including more and more electric vehicles.Its brands address differentiated needs, use cases and expectations: Europcar - a global leader of car rental and light commercial vehicle rental, Goldcar - a frontrunner at providing low-cost car rental services in Europe, Fox-Rent-A-Car, one of the main players in the car rental market in the US, with a 'value for money' positioning, Buchbinder, one of the most important players in car and light commercial vehicle rental in Germany, and Ubeeqo – one of the European leaders of car-sharing (BtoB, BtoC).Customers' satisfaction is at the heart of the Group's ambition and that of its more than 8,000 employees, everywhere Europcar Mobility Group delivers its mobility solutions, thanks to a strong network in 140 countries (including 16 wholly owned subsidiaries completed by franchisees and alliance partners).Job DescriptionMAIN OBJECTIVES:Accurate, timely and insightful financial and non-financial performance analysis at country/cluster level and facilitating monthly country reviews.Design, plan and communicate the budget, forecast and 5 years plan for the country in close collaboration with the Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) defined finance cycle in the relevant region.Ensure country P&L, Balance-sheet and cash accuracy in order to derive corrective actions in case of deviations against the agreed country performance targets.Act as business partner for the region by challenging business decisions, assumptions, through fact based support and rigorous reviews.Ensure Group standardization, harmonization, processes and KPIs are implemented within the region and facilitate exchange of good practice among the countries.Align with relevant Executives, functional heads, and countries CFOs/Heads of Controlling to continuously optimize the processes and to ensure proper financial control and risk management within the region.MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:Month end closing – full P&L and Balance sheet analysis, overview of KPI, R&O and variance analysis.Closely working with local controllers/CFOs as business partner to support decision making within the region.Playing an active role in major project and transformation initiatives within the countries.Standing member of country BPR, responsible for the deck completeness, analysis and decisions tracking.Business case evaluation for relevant project/initiatives within the region.Ensure the finance cycle implementation (Budget, Forecast and 5-year plan) supervision for the region.Gather and analyze Business Performance Review material, attend the review and make sure decisions are formalized and tracked.Closely working with Group FP&A to ensure compliance with finance cycle, method, processes and deadlines.Lead a godfather-topic from some specific area of expertise: Risk Management, Procurement, Pricing, Ops,...Entry point for all HQ functions for the region finance relevant topics.QualificationsUniversity degree in Business Management, Economics or related degrees.Requirements and Previous experience:- Minimum 7 years finance experience preferably including international experience in finance support, business or operations partnership or international external auditors: strong financial background, understanding the business and the market perspective are key requirements for the role.- Experience working with stakeholders at all levels in the financial, business planning, forecasting and revenue management teams.Personal characteristics:Analytical and data-drivenStructured, efficient and organizedOpen and direct communicationCapacity to make the link between the strategic orientation of the Group and country business decisionsAbility to analyze and synthesize dataAbility to present complex information to all levels of managementAbility to respect deadlines and work in urgency modeAbility to work in a team but also on his own.Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google SlidesConsolidation and reporting tools
