Sobre o nosso cliente Our client is a Group with over 70 years of market presence. Their Software Centre in Oporto, inaugurated in 2019, currently employs 50 software engineers and aims to expand to 90 engineers by 2025.
Descrição Dive into the pioneering Internet of Light sector as a member of the R&D team. Develop embedded software and communication protocols, leveraging your expertise to contribute to the team. Participate in software and firmware development for IoT lighting systems. Design and develop high-quality software utilizing modern methodologies (e.g., Stateless Protocols, Event-Driven Programming, Resilience Engineering) within a Continuous Deployment Pipeline. Assist in the design and implementation of both functional and non-functional requirements within an agile team, collaborating with external partners. Produce and continuously refine stable, readable, high-quality code (clean code) and improve software design practices (e.g., code styling, code reviews, continuous integration, TDD/BDD). Perfil ideal Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. Solid knowledge of electronics with practical software engineering experience. Experience in an agile development environment. Proactive and a strong team player. Goal-oriented towards becoming an expert in embedded software development (C, C++). Experience in designing and implementing complex and efficient software architectures for resource-constrained embedded systems. Proficient in working with hardware components such as EEPROM, RTC, and NFC to ensure seamless software-hardware integration. Valuable experience with wireless systems and IoT technologies. Strong debugging skills with tools like Valgrind, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Experience in unit testing and system-level testing for embedded systems. Capability to create thorough documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture. Strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Comfortable using English as a working language and motivated by cross-cultural collaboration within a globally distributed development team.
