This is how we perform at our best and achieve greater success.The positionThe Test Development Engineer position is open at HBK FiberSensing in Maia, Portugal, a HBK company specialized in the development and production of advanced monitoring systems based on optical Fiber Bragg Grating technology. HBK FiberSensing provides integrated solutions and world-leading expertise on Fiber Optic Sensing, with special focus on structural health monitoring.We are looking for a technology-driven Test Development Engineer professional to work on the design, development and implementation of test systems for fiber Bragg grating based optoelectronic DAQs. You will be joining a highly motivated R&D team in a dynamic and exciting workspace. We believe in teamwork, and we encourage each other to have open discussions and take ownership of our work. The role is based in our HBK FiberSensing office and allows freedom under responsibility to structure and plan your daily work. This role can be hybrid remote or onsite.Professional qualificationsMaster's degree in Electronic Engineering/Physics Engineering or similarGood technical skills in system integration and programmingKnowledge on C# programming and LabVIEW softwareSome experience from a similar role is desiredKnowledge on Instrumentation and Fiber Optic Sensing is a plusPersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in teams with colleagues from various business functions and locationsFast learner and open to dive into different fields of applicationsExcellent problem-solver, with creative and critical thinkingPositive attitude towards challenges and difficultiesCapacity to learn new skills, technologies, and domains as working on different products and projectsAbility to find and fix defects, solve problems, and deliver value to Customers#J-18808-Ljbffr
