Wealth Management Cash Investigation Senior Officer

About the job The Cash Investigations Senior Officer is responsible for handling, managing, and following up on claims and queries regarding cash flows across several locations. The role deals with internal clients, counterparts, and cash correspondents, and is also responsible for liaising with several departments involved in Cash Management activities.Your Main Activities Are Provide solutions and operational/market assistance, as well as accurate and useful operational insight to internal clients and teams.Perform banking reconciliation.Ensure that claims related to cash flows, from clients or counterparts, are resolved within the desirable time frame, while assuring quality support during the process.Monitor activity closely, including volumes evolution, workloads, recurring issues, and present solutions and ideas for improvement.Support management in all operational activities and on transversal projects when required.Actively participate in all projects developed within the Department and BNP Paribas Portugal.Monitor, report, and mitigate operational risk for all cases that the team is involved in.Deliver high-quality analysis autonomously and consistently, exhibiting problem-solving capacity in complex cases, and provide suggestions to improve processes and procedures.Respond proactively and accurately to first-level escalations when delegated.Train and actively foster newcomer development by providing technical guidance.Profile and Skills to Success Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.At least 3 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations.Knowledge of Risk Management - Risk knowledge & awareness.Knowledge of Operations and Processes - Transaction processing and data capture.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).Fluent in English.Attention to detail/rigor.Organizational skills.Client-focused.Analytical ability.Why joining BNP Paribas?
