Application Engineer
This is an R&D position designed to provide deep technical support to our SERDES IP customers during silicon bring-up and production phases. You'll be working directly with analog and digital teams to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Requires solid debugging and problem-solving skills for explaining circuits' behavior and limitations. Key Qualifications Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree Experience with electronics test/debug instrumentation Know-how in SERDES applications Familiar with PCIe and USB protocol and correspondent link training phases Excellent organization and communication skills Self-motivation, problem solving and attention to detail are highly valued. You will need to understand design, silicon implementation, test board and software interactions. Preferred Experience IC design Experience with Verilog/RTL interpretation and simulation Test instruments and execution of precision measurements. For example, with oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, bit error rate tester (BERT), network analyzer High-speed electronics Ethernet protocols.
