Offer Description At the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (Ciências ULisboa), a call is open for the attribution of 1 (one) research grant for an undergraduate student, financed by Ciências ULisboa, according to the following conditions:
Work plan:
Development of a Chrome extension to evaluate the accessibility of conversational agents
Development of conversational agents accessibility tests in the accessibility evaluation engine QualWeb
The grant is expected to start in December 2024. The contract, with a duration of 3 (three) months, on an exclusive basis, with the possibility of renewal up to a maximum of 12 (twelve) months.

Applications must be accompanied, compulsorily and under penalty of exclusion, by the following documents:
Personal data form and declaration of consent for communication of results via e-mail;
Proof of enrolment, in the academic year 2024/2025, in an undergraduate course in the area of Informatics Engineering or similar;
Detailed and updated Curriculum Vitae;
Photocopy of the qualification certificate(s) of the academic degree(s) required – if applicable;
If the academic degree was obtained abroad, you must submit one of the following documents:
Document proving the granting, by a Portuguese Institution, of the recognition or equivalence or registration of the academic degree;
Document proving that you have already applied for the recognition of the degree.
Notes:
1) The presentation of the proof of obtaining the recognition or equivalence or registration of the academic degree is a mandatory condition for signing the contract;
2) For academic degrees obtained in foreign countries, which have not yet obtained recognition or equivalence or registration of the degree, it is necessary to recognize it under the terms provided for in Decree Law no. 66/2018, of 16 August.

Candidates must fulfil the following mandatory requirements:
Enrolment in the academic year 2024/25 in an undergraduate course in the area of Informatics Engineering or similar;
If the academic degree required by the present announcement was obtained abroad, the requirements regarding qualification certificates shall be taken into consideration.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following requirements:
Knowledge of web accessibility
Knowledge of conversational UI agents
Experience in the development of full-stack applications
Experience developing with Node.JS, Next.JS, Typescript, Angular and Vue
The fellowship amount corresponds to €601.12, according to FCT Regulation for Research Fellowships.
It will be paid monthly by bank transfer.
The applicable selection methods will be curricular evaluation.
Form of publication/notification of results:
This competition is advertised on the Sciences ULisboa and Euraxess websites. All candidates will be notified of the final result of the evaluation.
