This role is responsible for ensuring that all the company's operations comply with local and international safety and environmental standards or those voluntarily subscribed by the company.

This person plays a crucial role in promoting a health, safe and sustainable working environment, minimizing hazards, risks and environmental impacts.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and Evaluation: Carry out regular inspections of the facilities to identify and evaluate safety and environmental risks.

Legal Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with all applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations.

Training: Develop and conduct training programs for employees on safe working practices and environmental awareness.

Incident / Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrences.

Waste Management: Oversee waste management, ensuring proper disposal and recycling in accordance with environmental guidelines.

Reporting and Documentation: Keeping accurate records and preparing detailed reports on safety and environmental issues for local and international management.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve the company's safety and environmental processes.

Minimum Requirements:
Academic qualifications: Technical certification (CAP) Level VI or higher in Occupational Safety, valid for ACT (health and safety inspection department), Environmental Engineering or related areas.

Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, as well as other relevant regulations.

Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team and strong attention to detail.

Professional level of English

Proactivity: Ability to identify problems and propose solutions before they become critical.

Adaptability: Flexibility to deal with changes and new challenges.

Ethics: Commitment to the company's compliance practices and social responsibility.
