Varanda, the modern restaurant vaunts top-level cuisine under the guidance of Chef Pascal Meynard. It is famous for the generous brunch and varied menu of gourmet delicacies. Skillful curatorship – "curadoria" in Portuguese – lies at the heart of CURA, the hotel's new restaurant where young  Michelin-starred  Chef and head culinary curator Pedro Pena Bastos selects his ingredients as meticulously as an artist chooses his paints, drawing from Lisbon's rich regional palette of seasonal ingredients to create artisanal dishes of great depth, taste and meaning. The most recent project- an outdoor swimming pool and bar with under-water music. The Hotel's new pool area is a sophisticated oasis perfect for enjoying and relaxing dip with a refreshing drink. The Pool Bar's menu offers a good selection of food, petiscos, drinks and Lisbon-inspired cocktails. What will be your main responsibilities and duties: Manages the Housekeeping staff to assure that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to exacting standards.Demonstrate a strong leadership presence for our guests, employees and suppliers;Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Housekeeping and Valet departments;Maintain a strong working relationship with our outsourced companies who are responsible for cleaning all guest rooms and public areas;Achieve high standards of cleanliness, by working closely with outsourced teams and our internal supervisors;Liaise with engineering, our off site laundry and front office departments to deliver optimum performance and collaboration;Oversee stock control and inventory including sourcing new products, suppliers and keeping up to date with trends, etc. What you will bring to us: Excellent communication and organization skills;Attention to detail and problem solving skills;Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload;The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country; Reading, writing and oral proficiency both in Portuguese and English.
