About the Role We're looking for an IT Client Platform Engineer to join our Client Platform Engineering team
You will solve complex endpoint management problems and drive security and end user experience for our End User Computing platform, bridging the gap between IT Operations, Enterprise Security and corporate users across the globe.
In this role, you'll assist our Windows and macOS teams delivering software at a global scale and support our IT Operations teams troubleshooting complex user issues.
This role reports to the Manager of IT Client Platform Engineering.
About the Team You will join a team of Client Platform Engineers that provide enterprise level Client Platform services, development, support, and client enablement for end users around the globe.
We strive to provide highly resilient and observable services to our teams, and reduce manual toil wherever possible.
We're focused on providing a positive customer service and user experience.
What You'll Do Solve endpoint management problems at a global scaleProactively solve end user computing problems across a diverse fleet of devicesSeek guidance from the team when neededBe flexible and available for after hours supportAssist the team with macOS, Windows, and Linux platform managementProvide thoughtful feedback on asks and requirements for new projectsWork collaboratively across geographical and team boundaries to solve problemsWork in a team environmentCreate and update technical documentationHelp make your team and cohort teams lives betterWhat You'll Bring 1+ years of proven work experience in a systems administration roleHands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS management platformsHands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, Python, Golang, and/or RustGood understanding of computer systems, mobile devices management platforms and software development best practicesAbility to perform root cause analysis on issues and document and implement solutionsFamiliarity with multiple environment deploymentsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to provide step-by-step technical guidance, both written and verbalBS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent experienceBonus Points Experience with Jamf Pro and Microsoft IntuneExperience with Ansible and Linux system administrationExperience working in the technology industryExperience working in a Service Desk, Help Desk, or Call Center environmentAWS Technical CertificationsMicrosoft Azure Technical CertificationsGoogle Cloud Technical CertificationsAgile CertificationMicrosoft Support CertificationApple Support CertificationITIL FoundationsHDI Support Center AgentCompTIA A+ CertifiedWhat Makes Cloudflare Special?
