Electronics Engineer

.We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team and work with us in developing, producing, and testing our ground electronic products that will be part of our SATCOM network.Together we will build an operational Satellite Communication (SATCOM) network ready to fly to space in 2025 and demonstrate, in a real testing scenario, its capabilities to provide IoT connectivity to ground devices.You should be comfortable working in a small team, with a significant share of autonomous work, in a dynamic startup environment. You will also be expected to work collaboratively across different domains, to rapidly develop and scale high-quality products in a rapidly evolving market.Exciting? Come join us building the CONNECTED future we all dream aboutJob ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities associated with this position are:Specify, architecture, design, simulate, develop, and test electronic products that will be part of our communication network.Drive system evaluation, requirements capture, component selection, schematic and PCB layout design, prototyping and testing of electrical products.Hardware deployment, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and quality assurance for developed electrical products.Software/firmware development for electronic devices development and testing.Define systems testing and validation plan.Thoroughly document design requirements, calculations, power budgets, etc.Work closely with colleagues from SW and RF Engineering.Skills and ExperienceIf you are applying to this position, these are the expected proficiencies:Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or other relevant engineering field).Professional experience in rapidly designing and delivering highly reliable products.Experience designing and implementing mixed-signal circuit boards from concept through production using processors, FPGAs, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, operational amplifiers, analogue to digital and digital to analogue converters, and power supply components.Experience with C/C++ and Python programming in embedded environment.Experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronics.Experience in designing digital and analogue electronic circuits (Autodesk Fusion 360/Eagle is a plus).Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.Confident, articulate, self-motivated, determined & energetic.Good level of English, both written and spoken.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, hands-on entrepreneurial environment.Compensation and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is between 27,000€ to 45,000€ per year, depending on experience.At CONNECTED, the base salary is just a part of your total rewards package
